Shift Requirement and Compensation for this role:

1ST Shift – Base Rate Starting at $$$ - “May vary upon experience” – remove this if not flexible on rate.

2nd Shift - Base Rate Starting at $$$ + $2 differential

3rd Shift - Base Rate Starting at $$$ + $3 differential

Summary:

Assist in the working of cleaning tools, moving parts, getting parts, and other assistance required in manufacturing as needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs routine operator level preventative maintenance, organize, clean, and maintain tools, equipment, product, and supplies to ensure the highest possible standards of cleanliness in accordance with established company procedures and Form B daily.
  • Setup parts on tools for the department as assigned.
  • Obtain parts for the department as assigned.
  • Assist other departments that need help.
  • Assist oven operator in moving tools, if required.
  • Tag parts, unbag tools, or remove parts from tools.
  • Operate forklifts, Dry ice blaster, trucks, and equipment carts to perform material handling duties as assigned.
  • Performs product packaging and labeling duties as assigned.

Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve scrap and quality issues with assistance from engineering, supervision, and upper-level managers.

Qualifications and Education (Required)

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One (1) to three (3) years prior experience in a related area within a manufacturing environment.
  • Acceptable vision test results (as applicable).

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
