The Houseperson’s conscientious concern will be a critical support in helping maintain the cleanliness and beauty of Resorts World Las Vegas. Along the way, the Houseperson will also interact with guests directly; delivering service that is polished without pretense and creates a friendly, comfortable atmosphere to delight guests during every stay.

• Everyone works in Guest Experience – If a guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that guest and do so with a smile. If the guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual.

• Maintain inventory levels, deliver supplies to assigned lockers, receive and stock housekeeping supplies.
• Clean guest amenities such as in-room trays, casino glassware, tables, ironing boards, and irons, as well as any trash or debris, remove and clean from the front of the house areas once in your view.
• Clean assigned stairwells, vacuum assigned hallways, clean ice machines, vending machines, tile floors, mop locker rooms and straighten shelves as needed.
• Empty all trash and linen from Room Stylist.
• Prepare list of items needing repair.
• Check all rollaway, baby cribs, vacuum belts, vacuum bags and other requested items for maintenance and serviceability.
• Deep clean all rooms in assigned area as per schedule (Pull Rooms).
• Conduct frequent spot checks and clean hallways.
• Deliver requested items to guest.
• Performs guest room cleaning duties, as needed.
• Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
• Use personal device/cellular phone for job related tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required:

• At least six months of professional cleaning experience.
• Working knowledge of basic computers, including handheld devices and radios.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Polished appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
• At 18 years of age.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of Housekeeping Department safety and OSHA regulatory guidelines.
• Houseperson cleaning in a resort setting.
• Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
