We are looking for someone detail-oriented and reliable to fulfill our Upholsterer III position located in Dallas, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
Work off prints and written instructions- Dismantle furniture to get upholstery ready
- Measure and cut leather or fabric with the aid of design stencils
- Install foam and attach to the furniture framework
- Conduct quality checks on completed orders
- Wear safety glasses and issued badge at all times
Qualifications:
Must know how to nail, glue, and stitch fabric into place- Possess knowledge of installing nail heads on frame
- Must have 1 year minimum of upholstery experience
- Must be able to use air tools (e.g. staple gun)
- Capable of reading tape measure
- Detail oriented, reliable and dependable
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to understand and speak English
