Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for a University Events Manager. The person in this role is responsible for all facets of developing and administering events planning, data management, and programs for campus.
Develops strategy, planning, and implementation for high profile campus events, summer programs, third party events, and conferences with a standard of excellence that advances the University in its relationships and reputation.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in planning and implementing events or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates an ability to do the job will be considered.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity and ease with working on databases and websites.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License required. May be required to drive state vehicles as needed.
  • Ability to lift/move 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, public, college community and external constituencies, with an appreciation for cultural and group differences.



    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in Higher Education.
  • Database, scheduling, and event management system (EMS) experience.
  • Ability to effectively lead and direct others.

    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
    Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary is $57,846. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
