Situated on 120 beautiful acres in Silver Spring, Maryland, Riderwood is the largest continuing care retirement community in the United States. We are hiring a Universal Worker (General Service) to safely provide service on day-to-day tasks to meet the needs of residents.
How you will make an impact:
- Concierge services to answer phone call requests from residents (no contact required)
- Onsite meal delivery to resident apartments (no contact required)
- Mail/newspaper delivery to resident apartments (no contact required)
- Works with other team members to find creative ways to keep residents engaged during isolation
- Trash removal (no contact required)
- Dog walking (no contact required)
- Supporting virtual visits for residents to communicate with loved ones as visitation is challenged by social isolation.

What you will need:
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- High school or equivalent preferred
- Computer skills and keyboard competency preferred
