Ultrasound Technologist Job at Midstate Radiology Associates
Midstate Radiology Associates (MRA) is seeking a Full Time Regular Ultrasound Technologist to join our growing team:
Primary Work Location: MidState Medical Center, Meriden, CT
Position Type: Full Time Regular
Position Summary:
Performs diagnostic medical sonograms in accordance with protocols in order to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment. Follows established policies and procedures set by the department, hospital, state, ACR, TJC, and OSHA.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registered or registry eligible with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers(ARDMS)
- Graduate AMA approved ultrasound program preferred.
- At least one year’s experience as an ultrasound technologist
- CPR certification.
- Must be proficient in working with Electronic Health Records (EPIC experience preferred).
- Must be committed to maintaining strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
MRA offers competitive compensation, based on qualifications and experience. Candidate will receive travel reimbursement.
Weekly Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri, 1st Shift (includes call and holiday rotation).
One day off each week and every other weekend.
Weekly Scheduled Hours: 32
