Our client is a Graphic Design and Web Development firm based in Orlando, Florida. We
are a leader in brand development and web presence specialization for small-to-medium sized
businesses, nonprofits, political campaigns and social causes.



We are seeking an Intermediate Level UI/UX Designer that will have an eye for clean and artful design,
superior UI/UX expertise, and excellent communication skills. The UI Designer’s talents serve as a
complement to the skills of our graphic designers and developers/programmers, translating high-level
requirements into attractive, intuitive, responsive and functional user interfaces that optimize client
marketing and SEO goals. Comfort with multitasking and working in a fast-moving environment with
constantly shifting priorities is a must.



Job Responsibilities and Duties



Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design
challenges; collaborate with developers and customers to solve visual needs
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively
communicate interaction and design ideas
Visualize and create responsive design interfaces for different devices (mobile, handheld,
desktop), device sizes, and different contexts
Follow the scope of an online project that goes from the proposal stage, to the technical work up,
and finally to the delivery of the web product in an Agile/Scrum development process
Participate in the initial conceptual stage along with a client in order to better meet the needs of
the customer and to translate those expectations to employees
Help devise solutions for customer problems related to ecommerce, corporate identity, web
application or other website presence needs
Under the direction of a Creative Director, lead the design process of a website or web
application by working with a team of graphic designers, writers and web developers
Work to find and solve any problems with the function of a web project by implementing testing
processes and working with technical staff in order to address any issues
Meet project goals within the specified budget of the client and the organization, adjust practices
to reflect cost saving measures and work in an Agile/Scrum development process
Generate periodic project status reports to be presented to company stakeholders; detail data,
tasks and processes
Develop additional skills, certifications and other banks of knowledge in the industry through
attending professional conferences, leading seminars with colleagues and keeping all relative
qualifications and certificates up to date
Take on new and unproven tasks in order to develop new business ideas and opportunities that
help lead the company to future success
Assist in testing, maintaining and enhancing interfaces
Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
Consistently keep accurate time records
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a creative setting required
Experience in client and team communication required
Knowledge about the development and design of websites and web-based and mobile
applications required; familiarity with web design systems preferred
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, flow chart mapping, and/or other similar tools preferred
Familiarity with modern semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and proficiency with version control
and project/task management software preferred
Ability to manage many different tasks and meet deadlines consistently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or a related field
Proficiency with print design, brand development, and strategic marketing plans
About This Position
This is a full-time employment position at our Orlando office, with flexibility on remote team members.
This is not a freelance or contract opportunity.



Compensation
$55,000–65,000 per year, commensurate with education, experience and market conditions.*

  • Compensation may vary based on experience. We are certainly eager to consider not only jr level candidates, but candidates with a variety of experience and/or seniority.
