Trucking Night Dispatcher

Reports to: Central Dispatch Manager

Department: Operations

Responsibilities include but are not limited too;

• Planning, scheduling, and supervising the work of drivers;
• Recruiting, interviewing, road testing and hiring drivers
• Administer disciplinary action when necessary
• Completion of all required paperwork and data entry to accurately account for all trips and pay factors;
• Work constructively with drivers, customers and outside services to address any performance issues as they arise;
• Monitoring and counseling drivers on work performance issues;
• Liaison to customer to help insure GHI meets all commitments;
• Maintaining the work environment and culture of the terminal at a high level of professionalism;
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with all company policies and DOT regulations;
• Support management efforts to satisfy customer needs; and
• Other duties as assigned.

Credentials

· 2 years’ experience in dispatching truck drivers

· Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively

· Transportation experience

· Microsoft Office

· Flexibility with working weekends/nights

HOURS RANGE FROM A START TIME OF 4-6 PM/8-10 hour shifts. THIS JOB REQUIRES YOU TO WORK WEEKENDS.

Must Have Permanent Work Authorization in the United States
