Treatment Assistant Admissions Per Diem Job at American Addiction Centers
The state-of-the-art facility is nestled on 22 acres of peaceful New England woodland in historic North Kingstown. The campus is conveniently located just minutes away from both the airport and downtown Providence. AdCare RI is also located close to pristine beaches and recreational areas. The newly renovated facility is outfitted with semi-private rooms with baths, fitness center, basketball court, and many other amenities.
Job Summary
Per Diem Treatment Assistant needed early evenings (11am-7pm/ 2pm-6pm)
The primary purpose of the Treatment Assistant is be out on the unit observing clients daily activities and assisting clients in their recovery. The TA welcomes new clients to the unit, escorts them to their rooms, and informs them of the rules and schedules of the unit. This position accompanies clients to all group meetings, activities, and all meals in the cafeteria. The TA is responsible to obtaining and documenting vital signs on clients. This position will clean and disinfect bedrooms. This position also works in the admissions department doing client intakes.
Qualifications:Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED required.
- Ability to read, write, communicate and understand directions in English.
- Demonstrates accuracy in taking manual vital signs.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required to gather information from individuals, build relationships, intervene in difficult situations and provide excellent customer service.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
All positions require a TST, MMR Titer, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening (including THC), and satisfactory criminal background records check.
