Transporter Job at Stamford Hospital
Stamford Health is looking for a transporter to join the team for a flexible schedule. Availability to work hours such as morning, afternoon, and occasional overnight shift, based on the needs of the department. This role work every other weekend and holidays.
Under the direction of the Central Transport Manager, the Transporter will provide safe and efficient transport of patients to nursing units, ancillary departments, patient rooms, diagnostic areas, and other areas of the hospital. The candidate will demonstrate good judgement in handling difficult situations and responding appropriately, remaining positive. Responds effectively and efficiently to calls from the ED, in-patient floors or ancillary support areas.
