PURPOSE
To improve student achievement by performing a variety of duties related to the safe and efficient routing of District transportation vehicles to serve the needs of students attending school in the Salem-Keizer School District.
As a member of the Routing team, you will be responsible for creating routing solutions to ensure the safe and efficient transport of students. This will require the ability to utilize several computer programs and maintain strict deadlines. You will work closely with school staff, families, and drivers to process a high volume of requests for transportation and to maximize the effectiveness of existing routes. You will be required to possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Class B Oregon’s driver’s license with applicable endorsements.
This position is a safety sensitive job class. Employees in this job classification will be subject to random selection for mandatory alcohol/controlled substance testing.
