Stearns Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC Granite City, IL 62040
Under the direction of the Executive Director, Central Supply Clerk is responsible to maintain adequate stocks of supplies and materials that the facility will be able to provide quality care to all Residents and to assure that Staff has the essentials needed to perform their jobs.
DUTIES
1. Maintains product in an orderly manner in the Central Supply area.
2. Receives and counts stock items and records the data, either manually or via computer.
3. Responsible for maintaining stock in a secure location and eliminating "shrinkage" or theft.
4. Verifies inventory by comparing to physical counts of stock. Investigates shortages or overages.
5. Unpack items and stocks shelves in the Central Supply area.
6. Determines if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary as appropriate.
7. Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, report damage to supervisors.
8. Prepares and maintains purchasing documents, files, reports and pricing lists.
9. Prepares purchase orders and submits electronic orders for approval.
10. Communicates with Support Office regarding purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor issues, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Understands and adheres to the Residents Bill of Rights and Protection of Personal Health Information.
2. Communicate needed information to all levels within the organization as appropriate. Attention to problem identification and potential solutions.
3. Attends in-services including all mandatory in-services either code required or required by department/company policies.
4. Maintains all Compliance Standards.
5. Contribute in a professional manner with a positive attditude, cooperate with cc-workers. Communicate and express positive ideas, suggestion, or solutions as often as possible.
