Job Description
Position Purpose
To oversee the monitoring, data management and follow up directly resulting from Dash Cams within our Low Volume Recovery Fleet. This individual will be responsible for reviewing any events that generate from our Dash Cam system, determining the next steps and working with Field Reps and Management to execute the appropriate follow up and training. As this is a new function within CHEP this individual will also be heavily involved in the development of any and all processes, policies and leadership strategies directly tied to the integration of Dash Cams with our daily operations.

Major/Key Accountabilities
  • Review any events that are flagged by the CHEP LVR Dash Cams to determine if follow up actions are required.
  • Work with CHEP LVR leadership to determine appropriate next steps for any events where this is applicable (this will be based on a set performance management process).
  • Lead/Assist in any training for Field Reps that is the result of a flagged Dash Cam event
  • Create, maintain and distribute all reports related to Dash Cam events and/or Field Rep Safety performance
  • Partner with external vendor(s) to ensure all equipment and systems are functioning properly
  • Prepare report outs for internal (LVR Field Reps & Leadership) and external (other functions within CHEP) presentations.
Measures
  • Percentage of all events reviewed
  • Execution rate of follow up for all appropriate events generated by Dash Cams
  • Report data accuracy & timeliness
  • Frequencies of trainings for Field Reps led by Coordinator
  • Resolution time for inactive or incorrectly performing units
Authority/ Decision Making
  • Determination of if events flagged by Dash Cams are actual violations determining follow up
  • Training/Follow Up planning and execution with Field Reps

Qualifications
Required:
  • Strong focus on Safety, specifically related to operation of a motor vehicle
  • Understanding of critical DOT regulations
  • Self-Motivated
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Comfortability working independently
Desirable:
  • Familiar with the operation and/or leadership of small truck/final mile fleets
  • Experience with monitoring and managing Dash Cam programs
Experience
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
  • Experience operating a motor vehicle commercial preferred
  • Conducting safety training with local or field-based employees
  • Development and management of Reporting outputs
  • Monitoring and Management of Dash Cams or other Driver Performance systems preferred
Skills and Knowledge
  • Microsoft Office
  • Operating requirements for commercial motor vehicles
  • DOT Regulations
  • Dash Cam or ELD Systems (ex: JJ Keller Encompass) preferred
Languages
