Who are we looking for?

TRICOR is seeking an exceptional individual to support the activities of the Transition Services Division. This position is responsible for performing all functions related to the offender workforce services during and after incarceration as it relates to entry into the TRICOR program, case management, educational opportunities and post release activities. This candidate is responsible for operations in Henning and Tiptonville.

Primary Responsibilities:
· · Pre-screen and track offenders assigned to TRICOR operations to assist in preparing TRICOR program rosters.

· Supervision and coaching of offenders in a worksite setting.

· Provides staff coverage in the place of TRICOR’s operations’ staff, as needed.

· Teach/Co-Teach all pre-post release offender training (Life Skills, T4C, Orientation, etc.) Provides Pre and Post release case management.

· Data entry.

· Provides all transitional support services to assigned offenders.

· Monthly reporting.

· Establishes Individual Offender Transition Plans

· Works with the Community Resource Officer to secure and provide offenders community resources to transitioning offenders.

· Working with the Community Resource Officer to establish and maintain relationships with service providers to assist offenders with post release referrals/services (Job Fairs-TDOC and Community Based; Governmental Services (ID's, Food, etc.); Non-Profit Service Providers (Housing, Clothing, Transportation, etc.)

· Serves as a liaison to TDOC’s Institutional Probation Parole Officer (IPPO), Reentry Specialist, and Probation & Parole Officer for reentry support.

· Establishes and maintains relationships with the TDOC IJC’s and Correctional Counselors to strengthen the understanding of TRICOR’s mission

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Education and Experience:
·Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work or related field OR 3 years’ experience in a correctional or offender reentry related environment. required.

·Offender Workforce Development Specialist (OWDS) experience is a plus

Pay: From $40,920.00 per year
