Cornerstone is seeking 2 Training Technicians (TT) to support the Advisory and Program Management Support (APMS) effort. This effort will provide comprehensive support to the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC), Quality Assurance and Accreditation Branches within the Standards and Evaluation Division (SED). The TT’s should have experience in direct delivery of instructions. Experience in a military academic training environment. Able to clearly communicate, present materials in a confident manner, and articulate as needed. Able to learn and become familiar or proficient with Qualtrics survey system.

Additionally, TT’s will:

Collect, analyze, and evaluate accreditation, affiliation, and quality assurance data. Create trend reports concerning data collected and make recommendations based on results. Develop various databases to store and retrieve accreditation, affiliation, and quality assurance data. Assist SED Division Managers and/or Contracting Officer Representative (COR) personnel with creating metrics, metric presentations, and reports. Examine problem areas and identify solutions. Rely on analytical skills, including mathematics and statistics, to plan and accomplish goals. Develop processes to improve the effectiveness of current SED operational activities. Work with Information Management/ Information Technology and other METC divisions on processes to streamline data collection.

Interact daily with METC academic programs to schedule End of Program (EOP), Quality of Life (QOL), and Anytime Student Feedback Survey (ASFS). Conduct, and report information obtained from surveys to the Quality Assurance (QA) NCOIC and SED Division Managers and/or COR weekly. Survey data retrieval shall occur within 72 hours of conducting a survey and sent to the QA NCOIC or SED Division Managers and/or COR within 24 hours if a concern exists. EOP and QOL data must be sent to the program within five days unless an area of concern is discovered per the QA Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Training Technicians shall be responsible for sending survey data to the SED Program Director, Department Chief, and COR. In addition, they may be tasked to communicate any issues discovered to additional individuals (as required and deemed appropriate by METC SED Division Managers and/or COR)

Perform data entry using word processing, spreadsheets, or database commands; and format material as required. Prepare graphic exhibits using software for presentations and agendas. Create data directories/subdirectories for file and report generation retrieval purposes. Maintain paper and digital files and retrieve reports upon request. Interact with departmental and other staff on matters affecting data and make recommendations for improvement or enhancement to processes to ensure data entry collection and retrieval. Support SED Division Manager personnel with acquiring data required for accreditation or affiliation site visits.

Facilitate Classroom Standards and Compliance Checklists (CSCC) with SED Division Managers and/or COR as well as other METC Divisions Programs annually; contact with Program Directors for scheduling shall be required. Along with analysis of current data on local share drives, reviews education/training from the program instructors, interaction with students, classroom conditions, and other items required for display within classrooms as necessary. Once all information has been received, Training Technicians shall collaborate with METC Faculty Management and Accreditation (and SED Division Managers and/or COR) to complete their reports for the verification process. CSCC reports shall be returned within 72 hours to the applicable Program for review and all deficiencies shall be identified and reassessed within thirty calendar days.

They will be required to learn functional areas and responsibilities to brief at METC orientations monthly. Training Technicians should be able to explain their role accurately and efficiently within METC, DHA, and each military service. Brief on the extended function of creating surveys upon request for programs and survey ability to improve training to incoming staff

Assist in conducting Quality Assurance Review (QAR) by coordinating and conducting briefings with scheduled programs, providing data for return and review, arranging appointments for interviews, and finalizing the executive summary (EXSUM) as needed. Training Technicians shall review relevant survey data results before conducting QARs and program checklists to complete the QAR process.

Assist SED Division Managers and/or COR with data to develop goals, objectives, and strategic plans. Provide graphical data to demonstrate trends and other statistical data to users at the program level and senior executives. Make recommendations to department personnel and provide continuous process improvement to the SED.

Candidates will have at least 3 years of experience, have at minimum an associate degree and be able to pass a Tier 1 background check.

Pay: $24,841.80 - $83,596.82 per year
