Training Specialist - Manufacturing, E. Syracuse, NY Job at Belden Inc.
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Training Specialist will develop and facilitate the manufacturing training program for production operations and will report to the plant manager. You will leverage your experience in production operations, adult learning principles, and process optimization to utilize training in support of organizational key performance indicators. This is an onsite position based out of the PPC East Syracuse, NY facility.
You will make an impact in the following ways:
- Create and maintain program documentation (lesson plans, instructor guides, visuals, etc.) to support the overall structured manufacturing training program
- Document attendance and evaluate assessments and/or feedback for all training activities
- Qualify production line personnel as on-the-job trainers
- Benchmark actual workstation production sequence/conditions against current job-task list and training program materials
- Review and update department program documentation and production work instructions, as assigned
What you will bring:
- Education & Experience: Associates Degree or Technical Diploma and 3+ years of production operations experience with 1-2 years in a training role (preferred)
- Markets: Knowledge of manufacturing training techniques

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $88,414.53 per year
