Schedule: Full-time

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary Range: $94,358-104,687 (pay will be determined based on experience, preferred qualifications, and education)

Responsibilities:
SUMMARY: The Senior Trainer will manage the entire training function for the practice. The incumbent will be responsible for assessing the training needs of the practice.

Job Duties & Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for offering training in a job-specific area.
  • Focuses on teaching specific areas of knowledge or on-the-job capabilities needed for certain positions.
  • Identify and assess training needs within a clinical office setting.
  • Meet with managers and supervisors to ascertain needs.
  • Conduct training surveys.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Train employees for specific jobs.
  • Develop, organize, conduct and evaluate training programs.
  • Create teaching materials and learning literature.
  • Teach skills such as computer applications, meaningful use, core measure, policies and procedures, and planning.
  • Direct structured learning experiences.
  • Participates in meetings and presentations on learning material.
  • Plan, organize, and implement a range of training activities.
  • Train new hires as well as veteran employees.
  • Help employees improve upon or enhance existing skills.
  • Conduct orientation sessions to assess level of skills.
  • Create and modify training programs.
  • Create monitored simulations and problem-solving scenarios.
  • Create interactive, multimedia presentations.
  • Hold workshops and lectures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Required Education & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus two years of full time training experience in a clinical environment.
  • In lieu of degree, an Associate’s Degree and five years of directly related training experience in a clinical environment may be considered.
  • Travel between offsite locations required.
  • Flexibility and ability to work irregular hours.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Software.
  • Must be highly organized and able to multi-task.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical background (troubleshooting, configuring, etc.).
  • Healthcare background.
  • Enterprise system administration experience.
  • Experience as a product trainer or consultant.
  • Project management experience a plus.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with patients, staff and medical providers. The employee must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. This position is largely sedentary and requires the employee to remain stationary for a majority of the day. The responsibilities and tasks outlined in this job description are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of CPMP. Any additional physical demands will be outlined and provided by management.
