Trainer Job at Hitachi Astemo
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Abides by all Hitachi Astemo Rock Spring (HARS) policies and procedures.
- Performs the roles and responsibilities of Hitachi Astemo Rock Spring regarding Training, ensuring that effective training is conducted through:
- Performing Internal Audits to ensure all processes are being followed
- Set up re-training for all associates when HARS receives any type of claim from customers
- Keep Record Tracking on all training
- Job Training and Certification Programs - complete follow up review once associate becomes certified and complete Refresher Training for all associates
- Ensure Work Instructions and documentation are in place for operational processes, equipment controls and validation, corrective and preventive action, deviation, complaints and recalls, audits, change control and business continuity.
- Coordinates special employee functions and events.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, to use hand to finger; handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear.
- Requires regular lifting of weights up to 5 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds
Minimum Experienced Required:
- Previous safety management experience. * HS or GED
- Knowledge of Casting, Assembly, Machining, and Quality
- Experience with Job Descriptions
- Experience with Training
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, able to build friendly work relationships
- Familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Basic excel knowledge
- Self-Starter
