Traffic Operations Associate- 2nd shift Job at Wilson Language Training
Job Summary:
In this position, the qualified candidate would work in our warehouse and support the Traffic Supervisor. This candidate will be assigned to receiving all inventoried and non-inventoried materials, stage and coordinate shipping of large orders. Process transactions using the internet and our company’s business software.
The Operations Associate will perform production, ship orders and receive inbound shipments in the materials distribution center, The qualified individual will be able to assemble multi-part sets and kits manually and ship customer orders with a great level of detail and a low incidence of error. At all times, required to observe safety and security procedures and uphold organizational values by treating people with respect. The individual will volunteer readily and commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach departmental goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect and store all inventoried and non-inventoried materials.
- Stage and coordinate delivery of all sales orders that require LTL or TL.
- Operate powered hand jacks regularly.
- Ship sales orders when needed.
- Following verbal and written instructions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable and able to work in a business office environment and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to and display WLT values
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have computer experience.
- Able to load and unload materials weighing up to 50 pounds each
- Stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as moving heavy boxes continuously while on your feet.
- Skill in simple math computations.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Forklift experience, a plus
Education
- High School graduate or GED acceptable.
