Our projects are often in the industrial and manufacturing environments, such as manufacturing facilities, automotive plants, chemical plants, distribution centers, warehouses, and other large commercial facilities. We are a self-performing specialty contractor specializing in design-build applications, HVAC systems, plumbing, process piping systems, boiler and chiller systems, equipment installation and rigging, plant relocation and maintenance, and metal fabrication.

We are looking for a Tool Room/Parts Expeditor to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive orders by telephone, email, fax, and in person, from Field, Shop, and Spec. Shop.
  • Promote suggestive selling by means of product knowledge. Promote parts exchange system.
  • Ensure any customer call back requests are completed to the internal customer satisfaction.
  • Process orders same day received, assuring that all documents necessary to the transaction are completed in an accurate manner.
  • Process Field, Shop, and Spec Shop Returns accurately and in accordance with company policy, assuring all pertinent information is included.
  • Follow back orders closely, to insure prompt delivery upon receipt.
  • Track back orders to communicate ship dates to Field, Shop, and Spec. Shop Personnel.
  • Work directly with Inventory Control to expedite back orders.
  • Check price and availability of parts.
  • Quote parts for machine repairs.
  • Manage Tool Room Assets.
  • Repair specialized tooling; insuring proper operation and calibration.
  • Ensure bulk oil is charged out to Machine and P.M. Trucks.
  • Place orders for bulk oil to restock bulk oil tanks in shop.
  • Process special orders for Field, Shop, and Spec. Shop (Mega & Downs).
  • Generate purchase orders for Field, Shop, and Spec. Shop.
  • Generate purchase orders for truck repair, as requested by Field Technicians and PSSR.
  • Generate purchase orders and fax to vendors for parts for machine repair.
  • Help insure proper ordering of parts by technician, maintaining cost and quantity restrictions.
  • Receive and distribute shop towels and other supply items.
  • Maintain professional appearance of tool room and tooling.
  • Maintain warranty parts process.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Two years related experience
  • Ability to sit for long periods using a PC and telephone
  • Ability to clearly communicate using the telephone and in-person
