Tool & Die Machinist Job at Synerfac Technical Staffing
Work for a Middlesex County, NJ area personal care manufacturing company.
Tool & Die Machinist:
Summary:
Lays out, plans, constructs, alters and repairs a wide variety of dies, jigs, fixtures and packaging machinery parts.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for making of parts or modifications of parts for packaging machines to suit specific jobs.
2. Perform duties for make ready on tipping and affixing machines
3. Sets up and operates various machines, such as lathes, millers, grinders, etc. to perform progressive and highly diversified production machining operations for complicated apparatus or equipment with very close tolerances or unusual requirements.
4. Experience with using a Proto Trak (CNC)
5. Order hand tools and shop equipment as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
