Will function as a therapist for children and their families in Grant and Blackford Counties. Will exercise a high level of independent judgement when working with clients. Will produce necessary documentation regarding families/clients, including reporting to external agencies and courts. Will manage and coordinate a caseload including initiating planning for home visits or other contacts with clients in an effort to meet treatment plan goals. Will work as a member of the treatment team. Employee shall function in compliance with all organizational policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations and observe ethical standards and confidentiality standards at all times. Salary commensurate with experience.
- Master's Degree in a mental health discipline.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana.
- Ability to understand all federal, state and local regulations that are applicable to the practice of addictions and mental health treatment.
- Competent in the practice of addictions and mental health treatment.
- Actively pursues a continuing program of education relevant to maintaining competency in mental health and addiction treatment.
- Negative Mantoux and urine drug screen.
- Have or be willing to obtain CPR certification.
- Must be able to hear, see, speak and be ambulatory to observe, assist, if necessary, and communicate with clients.
- Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
- Excellent communication and public relations skills.
- Competent to work under high stress with multiple priorities.
- Competent to utilize a high degree of independent judgement while providing therapy.
- Competent to maintain a high level of objectivity when dealing with all issues encountered.
- Able to uphold professional standards as a representative of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
