We are building cutting edge position tracking technology with applications ranging from AR/VR to Surgical navigation. Our technology is completely proprietary and so are the automated test systems, calibration processes, evaluation methods, and acceptance criteria that drive product performance.

We are hiring a multi-disciplinary test engineer that will support R&D testing & test method development, onsite low volume production & testing operations, and deployment of complex, proprietary test systems at our contract manufacturers. Responsibilities

  • Onsite test fixture and software installation, management, and maintenance
  • Onsite low volume production oversight & management
  • Develop R&D Test Setups & fixtures
  • including custom electronics, soldering, laser cutting, 3d printing
  • Perform R&D tests & write test reports
  • Develop & Maintain fixture documentation, such as manuals and maintenance documents
  • Write work instructions and protocols for new and existing tests & test fixtures
  • Perform R&D data analysis & review production data on an ongoing basis
  • Define test system requirements and perform performance qualification (PQ)
  • Perform failure analysis on returned and defective products
  • Provide feedback to the product development & engineering team on product improvements.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years Professional experience
  • B.S. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering, or other related degree
  • Experience with 3D CAD software
  • Rapid prototyping experience, such as laser cutting, 3d printing, etc.
  • Experience with Python or C++
  • Experience with electronics & embedded systems
  • Good problem solving abilities - analytic troubleshooting experience a plus
  • Capable of managing multiple projects at once

Nice To Have

  • Experience with process verification and validation
  • Familiar with ISO9001 or ISO13485 quality system
  • Experience with writing test protocols and reports
  • Test Method Validation
  • Certified Quality Engineer or other relevant industry certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
