Planning for the day workload and loading up necessary equipment and tools for completing the work safely and efficiently

Personal Protective Equipment checks & stretching

Utilizing company assigned resources to review and address pending notifications while at site

Daily Driver Vehicle Inspection (DVI) Report for regulated vehicles
-
SAP Interface/Navigation
-
Clear understanding and adherence to established substation practices (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures)
-
Maintaining a safety conscious culture by leading and influencing others to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.

Collaborative interactions with peers to effectively plan/perform work
-
Attention to detail to spot abnormal/non common scenarios
-
Use of common hand and power tools to perform repairs/maintenance activities
-
Perform strenuous manual labor
-
Administrative duties (e.g., checking emails, reviewing notifications, completing required trainings, proper timekeeping).

Experience using common hand tools and methods used in structural and yard maintenance work, using basic station equipment & reading from simple gages and instruments
-
Availability to travel outside assigned territory to support workload needs, 10%

Availability for on call duties after hours and on weekends.

Experience using the SAP Work Management System.

Knowledge of the SCE Accident Prevention Manual, SOM, and System Operating Bulletins.

Valid Class A Driver’s License\
You Should Know
This position’s work mode is onsite. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
Testing
This position requires testing and applicants who are identified to continue through the selection process will be invited to test via email. Reference our Information Guides for the following test: Edison Individual Contributor Workstyles (Test #8203). and 5105 - EEI MASS Test . Candidates who have previously passed these assessment(s), in some cases, may not need to retest again for this position.
