Temporary Assembly/Scanner Position Job at Keiter

This position reports to the Workflow Supervisor for the compilation and assembly of numerous client-targeted documents produced by various internal departments. Products released by the Product Assembly/Scanner Worker position are received by a diverse selection of end-users that can include Federal and State governments, publicly-traded and privately-owned businesses, and individuals seeking quality financial services.
Duties performed in this position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Accurately identify and organize forms; Prep documents for scanning (Manually & Digitally); assemble a wide range of specialized tax documents to meet correct filing criteria mandated by the Internal Revenue Service and each of the fifty states.
  • Utilize different tax related software to process and deliver tax returns via PDF or paper.
  • Download client documents from online portals and save to the client’s digital filing cabinet.
  • Provide clients of the firm’s tax services a correct, attractive representation of all documents prepared for filing with state and federal tax agencies and/or a representation for the client’s long-term use.
  • Copy, organize and assemble Financial Statements, Business Valuations and Cost Segregation reports for the purpose of providing clients with correct, attractive documentation of the firm’s research and projections.
  • Accurately printing client information on official government forms.
  • Maintain work center organization, neatness, and materials to allow for efficient delivery of assembled products.
  • Maintain quality and a high degree of accuracy while maximizing output under various deadlines mandated internally and externally.
  • Deliver assembled & scanned products in a timely manner to appropriate personnel within the firm for processing and/or dissemination.
  • Determine appropriate method of scanning. Scan documents and work papers into PDF files.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in day-to-day work.
  • Assist in maintaining supplies in 2nd and 3rd floor copy rooms on a regular basis.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, Shifts range from 8am to 9pm including the ability to work overtime and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours or more per day
  • Ability to deliver documents to different floors of the building
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and in a shared workspace
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Ability to perform well under pressure situations (multi-tasking, deadlines, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Knowledge of Computers/Microsoft Office; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe is preferred
  • Must be a quick learner, dependable, detailed oriented, possess critical thinking skills, have a strong work ethic, possess strong customer service skills and takes initiative
  • General knowledge of accounting practices is preferred
