Technician, Refrigeration Job at Royston Plant
Summary
A Refrigeration Technician is responsible for assembling refrigerated cases. Responsibilities that come along with this job include following specifications and ensuring that all products are built up to the quality standards of the company. This job must be done upholding all safety standards.
Essential Functions /Duties and Responsibilities

Lay out and assemble refrigerated cases following specifications, blueprints, manuals and/or oral instructions from supervisor

Manipulate heavy materials/ equipment to assemble refrigerated cases

Ensure all parts are correctly fitted when assembling
-
Inspect all parts for any defects
-
Ensure all assembly is done upholding all safety and quality policies

Ensure work is being done according to schedule
Competencies
-
Ability to read mechanical drawings
-
Ability to measure correctly with a variety of tools including tape measures, rulers, calipers, and others
-
Good communication skills
-
Attention to detail
-
Highly driven
-
Ability to work according to a schedule
Education and Experience
-
High school or equivalent degree required
-
Experience in HVAC preferred
-
Experienced in heating and cooling preferred
-
Experience in electrical preferred
-
Must be willing to travel
-
Must have a valid Driver’s license
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time
-
Ability to crouch, crawl, stoop, etc when required
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary
