POSITION: Maintenance/Electrician

Starting Pay - $24.75-$28.75 DOE, Excellent Benefits: BCBS, Paid Vacation, 401-K and DailyPay

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Summary: This is a TEAM oriented person who will be responsible for the safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs, as well as, performing preventative maintenance and trouble-shooting of packaging machinery, pneumatic systems, motor controls, and miscellaneous industrial electrical wiring. Must ensure efficient production and compliance with all Company quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform diagnosis and repairs to plant machinery and equipment in a high-speed environment, knowledge of high-speed packaging equipment, such as weighing systems, food detection systems, X-rays, laser sorters, knowledge of food processing equipment, dry-roasters and oil roasters, knowledge of SAP preferred.

• Order parts as required for mechanical repairs.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance type work.
• Perform maintenance on equipment in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as directed by Maintenance Supervisor

Key Competencies:

Ability to understand electrical drawings

Must have own hand tools

Must be willing to advance skill level through training

Must be able to work any shift

Specific experience required:

Must have previous work experience in two of the following categories: Food Manufacturing, PLC, Read electrical drawings, Trouble-shoot mechanical/electrical, Pneumatic systems, Nut roasting equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Standing for long periods of time; lifting up to 50lbs.; exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection. Exposure to and or use of tools and/or work activities that may require various forms of PPE.
