Position Summary
The Technician B will assist with data collection for the project A Randomized, Controlled Trial of Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Mental Health Training for Police Officers. For this project, we are going to enroll 240 police officers from six cities across the country. The Technician will help with daily operations of the project and all aspects of carrying out the trial.
Responsibilities
Assist with study coordination.
Assist with all aspects of data collection.
Assist with data coding and data management.
Assist with the preparation of documents such as IRB submissions and manuscripts.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or physics or related science or equivalent in education, training and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Other Requirements
Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements.
Will edit documents such as manuscripts and emails, analyze interview data.
Will edit documents on a desktop computer or on a laptop, talk to people through teleconference platforms
Equipment used: Computer only
