DeVine provides technical and scientific support to government clients in Oceanography & Atmospheric Science among other technical disciplines.

Our company is looking for a Technical Writer to join DeVine in a full time capacity. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may be considered.

DeVine contributes to projects in remote sensing, modeling, and scientific analysis of the Earth’s atmosphere and ocean and land surfaces, as well as astronomy and astrometry. We help our clients test and operate space-based, air-based, subsurface, and land and ocean surface-based sensors. We also collaborate to projects that develop new remote sensing capabilities and new ways of analyzing data.

Requirements and preferred experience:

• Associates/Bachelors Degree or higher in Engineering, Software, Economics, English, or equivalent
• 3+ years' directly related experience coordinating and interfacing with engineering and technical personnel to prepare, edit, and proof technical specifications, plans, procedures, proposals, and documents related to electronic and optical systems
• Demonstrated capability to coordinate and interface with engineering and scientific personnel to develop, prepare, edit, and proof graphically oriented technical papers, briefings, and documents.
• Demonstrated capability to develop images to represent complex technical and/or systems implementations. Proficient with PC word processing, presentations, spreadsheet, and database programs.
• Current Secret clearance or higher preferred
