The Technical Inside Sales Associate provides technical & product expertise to sales representatives, resellers, and customers during the sales process within a defined geography for our Fluid Technologies and Asset Protection (FTAP) business unit. Pall corporation is the global leader in designing and providing separation equipment for the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemicals, Automotive, Power Generation, Nuclear markets. You will be given access and use of a set of software tools to improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of quotations, orders and order changes.
Position Objective
- Support commercial sales team and distribution channel partners through product recommendations, quote generation and aiding order entry
- Communicate with customers to understand and address their needs and concerns
- Facilitate in sizing and recommending new filter systems to customers in our core markets
- Maintain current business and acquire new customers
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for recommending replacements for obsolete Pall parts
- Provides product drawings, datasheets, and operation manuals to sales team and end user customers
- Assist with new part creation by submitting inquiries to our manufacturing facilities and 3rd party part setups
- Responsible for C level account management, including technical support and sizing
- Manage accounts through leads and opportunities in Salesforce
- Responsible for handling and routing all customer requests from phone queue, live chat, and general mailbox
- Assist customer service with quote updates for order entry and shipment corrections
- Support the quotation process by providing cost and ASP to commercial sales team
- Responsible for creating and updating SAP quotes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree. Technical, Engineering preferred, or Business with Technical sales/support experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Highly Customer Focused
- Sales experience a plus
- Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
