JOB DESCRIPTION:

Unique opportunity for an experienced technical designer to work in a creative environment and grow with the design team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design Tech responsibilities

- Create all tech packs for showroom development

-Measure original samples, photograph and write accurate construction following our standard

-Prepare samples and e-patterns to send to factories

-Attend fittings, take notes, and make any necessary updates to t/packs

-Communicate and follow up with factories to ensure on time sample deliveries

-Enter all information into Exenta

Design Tech requirements

-At least 2 years of experience as a Design Tech at a women’s fashion company

-Knowledge of garment construction, fit, measuring, workmanship and function

-Fluent in Photoshop, excel, word. Knowledge in Exenta is a plus

-Strong written and verbal communication

-Must be detail-oriented and organized

-Enthusiastic and team-oriented

-Be prepared to meet the design calendar
