The Automobile Club of Southern California has an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Tech Support Service Technician. This position supports the AAA service provider technical devices. The ideal candidate will perform help-desk type duties remotely assisting users with various issues related to equipment and software.

Responsibilities:
Install, video surveillance and recording devises, voice and data base station and mobile transmission equipment. Perform installations in offices, on buildings, or at radio base station sites while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Program, align, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair voice and data mobile radios, mobile data terminals, and voice and data base station transmitters for the appropriate frequencies and guard tone.
Candidates must possess a knowledge of Android platforms and have a familiarity with mobile electronic devices such as Smart Phones, Tablets, and Laptops.
Experience in remote troubleshooting, or previous help desk experience is a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of digital/analog communication networks required.
Ability to multi-task, balance numerous and diverse operations, as well as possess the ability to work well with employees, management and vendors required.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills required, as well as the ability to work under pressure.
Desired Skills:
Advanced knowledge in working with two-way data and voice communication networks required.
Knowledge of electronic inventory systems preferred.
Professional verbal and written communication skills required.
Repair or installation of vehicle audio systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
AA degree or equivalent electronics training and/or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
Valid Driver License, acceptable driving record and minimum limits of automobile liability insurance required.
Travel may be required, as well as the ability to manage critical outages or problems during non-business hours in support of a 24 hours per day, 7 days per week environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
