Pet Supplies Plus, James Island is looking for petcentric, outgoing team members who will deliver the company's vision to be America's favorite neighborhood pet store!

The Team Members will be cross trained on the positions below:

ANIMAL CARE

• Become an expert on products and animals to educate pet parents
• Follow daily/weekly schedules for sanitizing habitats and feeding animals according to operating standards within time deadlines
• Assist team with other daily operations, such as stock, cash wrap, working the floor to engage with pet parents

CASHIER / CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Greet each neighbor walking into our pet center!
• Deliver knowledgeable service to our neighbors (customers)
• Sales driven and helps team meet company’s goals and metrics
• Multi-tasker
• Goal & Detail oriented
• Process purchases with accuracy and efficiency
• Provide information on our preferred pet club membership
• Act as a back-up Stocker or Pet Care Team Member as required
• Any other duties as assigned

STOCKER

• Deliver knowledgeable service to our neighbors
• Unload delivery trucks using the proper equipment
• Stock shelves and rotate product
• Merchandise product according to Standard Operating Procedures
• Carry merchandise to our neighbor’s cars
• Act as a back-up Cashier or Pet Care Team Member as required
• Any other duties assigned

Requirements:

• Passionate about people and their pets!
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Team player
• Master multi-tasker, while working under pressure
• Self-starter, ability to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so
• Integrity
• Able to follow directions thoroughly
• Open availability during business hours and holidays
• Dependable
• Able to lift 45-60 pounds, sometimes while moving up and down ladders.
• Pass drug screening
• 16 years or older
