The People Service Center will help to design the experience shaping the future of Datadog Employee Experience with a focus on our Users' experience. You will manage innovative thinking, business process and systems initiatives that will ultimately improve the candidate, employee and People team experience. A Team Lead performs diverse roles as project leaders, process optimizers, change managers, advisors, and connectors. As a consultant and strategist you use HR domain fluency, agility, and excellent project management skills to advise leaders, guide projects, and ultimately design superior solutions which will ensure operational readiness for scale across our global organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage, lead, and coach a team that will deliver best-in-class experiences that leverages optimal workflows, automation, and process streamlining capabilities to operate more efficiently.
  • Enable the People team to succeed by driving discovery, planning, and developing process and systems solutions across our People Infrastructure; creating SLA's to drive efficiency and accountability
  • Work with the business to build networks, experiences, and pre/post onboarding material and surveys
  • Champion collaborative cross functional relationships with Recruiting, IT, Workplace Services, Payroll, and hiring managers to ensure a successful hiring process and engaging onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization, in alignment with Datadog brand and messaging
  • Partner closely with stakeholder teams to advise on how to successfully operationalize People initiatives within the existing system and process ecosystem.
  • Seek out creative solutions to provide guidance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating when appropriate
  • Create and present content related to projects, facilitate working sessions, lead and contribute to project review. Develop comprehensive project plans, workflow, and guidelines for assigned projects
  • Leverage data and storytelling to support decision-making, escalate risks, and monitor adoption of People initiatives

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of professional experience working in People Operations or a related field
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
  • Experienced in building, scaling and leading large scale or cross-functional initiatives and programs (such as onboarding or training programs)
  • Passionate about coaching others with 1+ years of direct management experience
  • Skilled at operating with a sense of urgency
  • Able to successfully navigate an ever-changing process

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $106,000 to $155,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
