Teaching Assistant Job at Abilities, OT, PT, SLP, PLLC
Abilities is seeking a competent, caring, responsible Teacher Assistant to help our lead Teachers and Therapists in educating our students. The T.A will work with children ages 2-3 with various educational needs.
As a Teacher Assistant, one will be responsible for individual students or smaller groups of students who need assistance. You’ll work with the lead Teacher/Therapist to assist in creating plans for class, and support the routine of the class.

Responsibilities
- Help teachers/therapists prepare lesson plans
- Set up necessary materials for classes
- Track student attendance and class schedule
- Work with smaller groups of students for reinforcing the learning process
- Make sure classrooms are safe and tidy before classes start
- Assist teachers/therapists with various tasks such as informing parents of their children’s progress
- Help students adjust, learn, play and socialize and report to teachers about progress.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
