Datadog is looking for a Talent Development Manager to develop, implement, manage, facilitate, and enhance learning programs that will advance the company's performance and strengthen our culture. This role is critical to the expansion of organization-wide learning initiatives as we rapidly scale.

You will have the opportunity to make a big impact at Datadog by enabling our People team to deliver more frequent and robust learning globally. This cross-functional role will involve partnering with stakeholders across the business and within the People team to ensure we are delivering and optimizing quality talent development programs. You will help unlock the potential of current and future employees by designing and executing accessible, high-impact, and enjoyable learning experiences.

The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running by confidently launching and managing a global employee mentorship program, robust learning communities, and an expansive employee-to-employee development initiative. Additionally, they will begin to suggest optimizations to current programming and design improvements and new material where applicable. They will quickly begin to build relationships with stakeholders and drive cross-functional projects through completion to achieve business goals.

What You'll Do

  • Design and deliver innovative, high-quality learning experiences that are impactful and valued by employees across various departments and geographies. Additionally, align global learning programs with talent management and performance initiatives
  • Launch and manage a new global mentorship program to help Datadogs navigate their careers and maximize their potential
  • Develop, manage, and scale various employee-led learning initiatives, devising a strategy and structure to drive strong impact
  • Facilitate workshops (e.g., mentor training) that drive meaningful behavior change as well as utilize technology in creative ways to enhance outcomes and promote scalability
  • Collaborate with SMEs across the business to help them develop high-quality training programs, including facilitator-led workshops and eLearning content
  • Work with Talent Development team members to measure the success of learning programs through thoughtful data collection and analysis

Who You Are:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in L&D, Talent Development, or a related field
  • Proven track record of building, launching, and managing global talent programs like mentorship, peer learning exchange, or similar
  • Ability to create and execute on strategic plans to ensure the ongoing success of our learning programs in a constantly evolving landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to design clear and aesthetically engaging learning content and resources, including digital tools
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills plus experience driving results for projects with multiple contributors and stakeholders
  • Strong facilitation skills that are effective in both in-person and virtual formats
  • Ability to analyze learning and development programs and provide end-to-end strategic recommendations
  • Ability to work from our New York City office at least 3 days per week

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $137,000 - $150,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
