Embarcadero YMCA
Provides swim lesson instruction to a diverse population using national YMCA principles and program models. Instructors are asked to demonstrate the YMCA Mission and Guidelines. Fundamental knowledge in aquatics is critical to the success of this position. National YMCA Swim Program training certificates are preferred within 90 days or upon first available training.
In order to keep staff and participants as safe and healthy as possible, all staff working on-site will be required to be vaccinated (COVID-19) prior to beginning work.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years old
- Availability: Mondays from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM and/or Fridays from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Significant knowledge of swimming/aquatics, previous experience in competitive swimming
- Current YMCA approved certifications in: CPR, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor, or acquire within probationary period
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- San Francisco, CA 94105: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
