The Sustainability Senior Analyst will play a key role in providing ongoing support with program management, data analysis and reporting, certification, and other program element oversight in support of achieving Carrier’s 2030 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Goals.

This position requires extensive cross-functional coordination at all levels of the company, project management skills, robust business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to synthesize complex business problems and devise and execute plans which address vast challenges and opportunities, both short and long term, in the environmental sustainability space.

To do well in this role, the candidate must be able to confidently maneuver through complex projects and situations of high ambiguity. In addition, the candidate must have expert working and application knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support Carrier’s ESG program management leadership in all aspects of overseeing the execution of ESG projects

• Semi-autonomously contribute to the process of auditing, validating, and assuring the quality of data provided

• Complete and lead required monthly quarterly, and annual reporting or on an as-needed basis

• Contribute to review and verification of data audits

• Work with the ESG team to understand how data provided informs reporting for regulations and frameworks. Request updated information as regulatory requirements are updated

• Help develop and compile definitions and standards to allow for consistent and transparent goal tracking

• Assist in developing change management tools to support data modifications and help ensure smooth transitions

• Support delivery and maintenance of standardized dashboards, KPIs, and analytics

Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Statistics, or Environmental Sciences

• 4-6 years’ work experience; ESG data reporting experience preferred

• GRI, SASB, IR, or similar certification is preferred, but not required

• Exceptional leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of business acumen

• Experience working on complex, cross-functional programs preferred

• Motivated with outstanding initiative, creativity, and energy

• Ability to work semi-autonomously to analyze data requirements

Ability to travel 20-30% of the time
