A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Analyzes, develops, and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.
• Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns.
• Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
• Works closely with the customers, Global Supply Chain & operations to ensure that customer demand are schedule properly based on existing capacities & supplier lead times.
• Schedule’s production to maximize fill rates, productivity, minimize thru-put time, and maximize inventory turns and efficiency.
• Analyzes and schedules production activities to support forecast, target inventories, and multiple plant production activities. Analyzes material and capacity constraints and develops alternative schedules to meet objectives.
• Manages, analyzes, plans raw material activities to support forecast and target inventories, Responsible for work in process inventory control and accuracy.
• Performs planning activities in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Responsible for inventory transactions on manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Maintains and updates material related systems in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Work with engineers and supervisors on ECO implementations and First Article Inspections, implements and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems.
• Supports special projects, and studies related to materials planning procedures and inventory

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have

• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or electronic industry
• SAP Knowledge
• APICS, CPIM or CIRM certification
