The Supply Chain Analyst will support the Supply Chain Leadership team on new initiatives and process improvements through analysis, solution development, and implementation project work. Work with cross-functional teams to help improve their processes and systems. Ability to compile and analyze trends, and identify operating efficiency opportunities. The role will heavily support Supply Chain Operations but will interact with many functions across the business as well as external vendors. The role directly reports to the VP of Operations.


What You'll Do

  • Support the the VP by managing projects end-to-end including heavy data analysis
    • Establish and run project milestone calendars
    • Update project status regularly
    • Use data and modeling techniques develop supply chain improvements
    • Present analysis, insights and recommended course of action
  • Analyze supply chain structure, both process and resource allocation
    • Work with SC management team and finance to develop and implement efficient labor modeling that flows and flexes with the commercial needs
  • Identify and manage supply chain cost-saving initiatives end to end (with VP support)
    • Communicate with Rifle leadership the data findings, insights and action plan
  • Support Supply Chain managers in the identification of new technology, processes, and strategies
  • Assist in communicating and implementing a solution with cross-functional teams
  • Lead project implementation teams for new supply chain technologies and systems
  • Create and track KPIs for measuring performance such as safety, service levels, costs, quality
  • Become a subject matter expert on supply chain processes
  • Have the ability to backup Supply Chain Managers during coverage shortages

What You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Operations, Business or related equivalent proven experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years Supply Chain management team support in a high SKU seasonal business in warehouse/fulfillment operations. In depth knowledge of planning, sourcing, logistics etc is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Google, Microsoft Office, and ERP (SAP) as well as analytical project management softwares is critical to the success of the role.
  • End to end project management techniques and tools; lean 6 sigma / similar PMO background a plus
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills; multi-tasking
  • Root-cause identification, analysis and problem solving
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with purpose, professionalism, thoughtfulness and care
  • Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate and persuade through data
