SUMMARY

Supervises the hourly employees of the Quality Department in addition to maintaining and assisting in maintaining the integrity of the established Training and Non-Conforming Material (NCM) processes, respectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• 
  Coordinates and reviews the activities of the hourly Quality Personnel.

• 
  Head up NCM reviews with each shift on a daily basis to obtain timely and effective disposition of suspect/nonconforming product.

• 
  Participates, as needed, in the daily review of scrap generated in the last 24 hours and recommends measures to improve production methods for the ultimate improvement to the quality of product.

• 
  Generates, as needed, and participates in the Corrective Action process for internal and external product nonconformances.

Completes the quality portion of the On-Boarding Training and all employee training related to the Quality Management System (QMS) including the General Task List upon a production employee’s completion of their required 480 hours or other defined trial period.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

B. Must have 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on the relationship to the Quality Management System.

C. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

D. Training in Blueprint Reading Skills with GD&T is a Plus.

E. Training in the Automotive Core Tools is a Plus.
