The Supervisor of Infection Control and Prevention is responsible for quality care for infection control and prevention services of residents, and supervision of staff.

Supervisor of Infection Control and Prevention - FT Days

Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily supervises staff
• Educate staff and residents on best practices in infection control.
• Monitor potential residents identified at risk for skin breakdown.
• Complies with physician's orders by completing dressings and treatment.
• Responsible for thorough and accurate documentation on resident charts.
• Reviews and ensures completion of monthly summary on each resident receiving restorative services.
• Approves and maintains restorative care plans.
• Monthly resident assessment of the continued need for restorative services.
• Care conference attendance needed.

Required:

• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Extensive Experience in Infection Control
• Two years of experience in an appropriate clinical setting
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Michigan required

Preferred:

• Previous management/charge nurse experience
