As the selected candidate for the Supervisor for Outpatient Services:
This position will be able to supervise the day to day operations of adult outpatient services at the Macon-Bibb location. Supervisor ensures proper policies and procedures are followed in regards to safety and organizational best practices. They monitor staff schedules and ensure proper coverage in all designated areas and maximize billable time of all direct service staff. They are responsible for recruiting and staffing all vacant positions in designated programs. Supervisor coordinates and provides direct training to all new-hires. Supervisor may also provide monthly supervision as appropriate and attend organizational leadership meetings.
Duties:
  • Provides staff oversight to include time and attendance, product evaluations, disciplinary actions.
  • Ensures authorization of services provided in an outpatient setting, appropriate staff scheduling, and adherence to budgets.
  • Pulls, analyzes, and implements data from reports to make decisions about staffing, staff job performance, and other requirements for service delivery.
  • Manages applicable grant data reporting.
  • Addresses consumer complaints or concerns.
  • Facilitates regular staff meetings for all subordinates.
  • Provides services as needed for adults.
  • Trains and coaches staff on implementation of organizational best practices.
  • Creates, analyzes, evaluates, and updates policies and procedures; advocates for changes as appropriate.
  • Responsible for attending community meetings, networking, and providing resources to staff for referrals to appropriate agencies.
  • Refers clients or families to community resources to assist in recovery from mental health, substance abuse, or other areas of functioning.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing set standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Adheres to and enforces compliance to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, ASO, DBHDD, and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards.
  • Updates job knowledge by maintaining licensure, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations, etc.
Qualifications Needed (education and/or experience):
  • COVID Vaccinated.
  • A bachelor's degree in a social service related field is required but a Master's is preferred.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience in social services delivery.
  • Must be strongly customer service oriented and always have the best interests of our clients at heart.
  • Experience supervising direct care staff in behavioral health field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with adults, children/youth with mental health diagnosis is highly preferred.
  • Professional licensure or license eligible preferred - LPC, APC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LAMFT.
