The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Drinking Water has an opening for a Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer in the SAFER Section. They can be located at any of the following Division of Drinking Water office statewide: Redding, Santa Rosa, Richmond, Monterey, Carpinteria, Glendale, Santa Ana, San Bernardino, San Diego, Sacramento, Stockton, Fresno or Bakersfield.

This position is designated under the Conflict-of-Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. Failure to comply with the Conflict-of-Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
