Supervising Dubbing Producer I Job at SDI MEDIA USA
Role Description
The Supervising Dubbing Producer oversees all aspects of production from project inception to completion of production & final delivery.
Specific Responsibilities
- Creation of production schedules including delivery, and archiving of final assets
- Accurate and timely updating of production status tracker(s) including A/V, ancillary deliverables, project specific budgetary forecasting
- Scripting: Communicating with Director, Adaptor & Content Partners to ensure scripts are created accurately & within decided timelines
- Review speaking roles and oversee casting
- Directing voice talent as needed (special projects, pickups)
- Review produced content for sync and quality
- Facilitating the smooth operation and interaction of all key components & team members within the production
- Collaborate with Studio Director and Managing Director in establishing SOPs and operational best practices
Capabilities & Skills
Required:
- Must be detail oriented, organized, and stay cool under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
- Knowledge of Video and Audio codecs, specifications, and formats
- Comfort with creating workable and efficient production schedules
- Understanding of production accounting
- Experience with VoiceQ or similar scripting software
- Highly skilled with MS Excel, MS Word and Google Sheets
Preferred:
- Proficient in Pro-Tools
- Fluent in Japanese or other language in addition to English
- Experience with prelay animation workflows
- Proficient in Adobe CC especially Premiere
Qualifications & Experience
- B.A. in Theatre, Film, Music or related field
- Experience with a variety of centralized Subtitling and Dubbing localization workflows and product types, including movies or series across multiple regions and languages, or experience working in the local office of a global studio or post-production environment geared toward work with the same
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,020.00 per year
