codeCampus is seeking to hire and train Summer Camp Teachers in the Ventura area for Summer 2023 and beyond. As a Summer Camp Teacher, you will:

• Work with site staff in our summer program in our partner Ventura schools
• Lead STEAM lessons for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum
• Teach students in grades TK - 5
• Classes run Monday to Friday and morning to afternoon

About you

This role is great for early-career educators, or seasoned educators who have availability during the summer. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• Available to start training immediately (paid)
• Availability to start working on 06/20 through 08/04(?) (employment to continue through Fall 2023 and beyond based on performance)
• Available Monday - Friday from approximately 12:00pm - 5:00pm (approx. 19-22 working hours/week)
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
• Exceptional communication skills
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Willing to go through our professional development training program

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hour depending on experience, plus commuter benefits, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
