We are seeking a Substance Abuse Therapist for Service Members, Veterans and their Families.
Licensed or Licensed Eligible required. CSAC preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties for Substance Abuse Therapist:
- Assist in the provision of assessment and counseling services primarily MH/SA, dually diagnosed and/or SMI consumers
- Provide consumer assessments, to include determination of initial services for priority populations; schedule services; linkage/referrals to other service providers
- Provide counseling, plan, develop, coordinate, consult, and implement services that provide treatment, education, rehabilitation, and support to consumers
Qualifications and Skills for Substance Abuse Therapist:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling
- Two ( 2 ) years clinical work experience in a MH/SA facility or similar setting
- Licensed or eligible to work toward licensure (LPC or LCSW) upon approval by the respective Board (Required)
- CSAC Preferred
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record required
