We are seeking an experienced Structural Designer/Engineer to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and detailing complex buildings in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with team members on design and detailing for production of structural working drawings.

· Prepare structural design of buildings including foundations, gravity and lateral systems, and appurtenances supporting architectural features.

· Prepare detailed calculations documenting building design.

· Assist in the preparation of reports, specifications, and construction cost estimates.

· Perform site inspections and evaluations to assess the condition of existing structures.

· Produce high-quality design documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis programs.

· Communicate with clients and project teams to ensure project requirements are met and deadlines are achieved.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field

· EIT/PE license highly preferred but candidates without licensure will be considered

· At least 2+ years experience in structural design

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis programs such as RISA Suite and Tekla Tedds

· Understanding of building codes and standards including IBC, ASCE 7, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), ACI, AISC, TMS402/602, and NDS

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
