    License and Certification Qualifications: None required.

    Education Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

    Experience Qualifications: Three years in an office/clerical environment required. Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook and PeopleSoft preferred. Experience with assessments is also preferred.

    Skills Qualifications: Ability to communicate with others in an effective and professional manner; ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to all matters involving students and staff; interpersonal skills to work successfully with internal and external contacts; excellent skills in organization and time management; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and with limited supervision; ability to assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of large meetings with multiple handouts and technology support; ability to work as an effective team member; ability to follow oral and written instructions quickly and accurately; strong editing and proofreading skills; strong bookkeeping/accounting skills; strong computer skills with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software packages; flexibility to adjust to meet deadlines; excellent telephone and public relations skills; and ability to represent Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) in a positive and professional manner.

    Primary Responsibilities: Support accountability and assessment activities and operations by overseeing administrative duties and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers.

    1. Perform administrative duties relating to accountability and assessment initiatives.
    a. Assist with the ordering of materials and educational resources.
    b. Manage concurrent tasks effectively and ensure that priorities are completed by designated deadlines.
    c. Arrange meeting details, including room reservations and material preparation.

    2. Maintain an organized and highly operational work environment.
    a. Maintain an effective and efficiently run office and work space.
    b. Utilize software and technology appropriately to produce high quality documents and materials.
    c. Initiate work orders and supply requests as needed to maintain equipment and supplies in the office.
    d. Organize and maintain files relating to required documentation, correspondence, confidential matters, and inventory.

    3. Develop and maintain an effective partnership with the Director(s) of Accountability and Assessment.
    a. Handle routine matters when the Director(s) and/or other team members are away from the office.
    b. Support the Director(s) of Accountability and Assessment's job-related needs through various calendar scheduling, creation of documents, and other resources.

    4. Promote and maintain positive interpersonal relationships.
    a. Act as an office receptionist both in person and over the telephone.
    b. Build collaborative relationships with other divisions, departments, and local schools.

    5. Perform other tasks as needed in an effort to support the Department of Accountability and Assessment.
    a. Support the assessment delivery platforms.
    b. Assist in providing support for professional development opportunities.

    6. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Physical Demands:
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
