The HQ Personnel Directorate's Workforce Development Division (AFRL/DPD) is seeking an individual to serve as an analyst for AFRL Strategic Workforce Development. Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Designing, implementing, and managing short-term and long-term AFRL enterprise workforce development programs and initiatives that impact all AFRL employees.
- Planning and developing career development programs for the AFRL workforce, advising supervisors and functional managers on career development processes and tools, and monitoring career development activities across AFRL organizations.
- Planning and developing programs that ensure AFRL employee talent development through analysis, competency and skill determination, talent gap assessments, needs/requirements determinations, and resource planning/advocacy.
- Reviewing and interpreting OPM, DoD, AF, AFMC and/or AFRL policies/instructions to develop and implement guidance for the AFRL workforce as related to strategic workforce development.
- Making authoritative recommendations on AFRL's investment of resources and the development of contracting strategies to support Strategic Workforce Development programs and initiatives
- Collecting and analyzing pertinent workforce development data and information to assess effectiveness of strategic workforce development programs and initiatives, developing workforce development goals and objectives, establishing and tracking workforce development metrics, and developing statistical and narrative data to justify any changes and/or recommendations to workforce development programs and initiatives.
- Participating on committees and working groups representing AFRL as a corporate workforce development expert at various organizational levels internal and external to AFRL.

Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the DO-01/GS-11 or equivalent grade level.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: To ensure compliance with an applicable preliminary nationwide injunction, which may be supplemented, modified or vacated, depending on the course of ongoing litigation, the federal government will take no action to implement or enforce the COVID-19 vaccination requirement pursuant to Executive Order 14043 on Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees. Therefore, to the extent a federal job announcement includes the requirement that applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 pursuant to Executive Order 14043, that requirement does not currently apply.
